Seriously. Most people assume shopping with a stylist is for women who love fashion. In reality, the women who come to me are tired of shops, don't know what suits them, get lost among the racks, and keep buying while the wardrobe still says "nothing to wear".
I get it. Chaotic shopping is exhausting: hours of searching, trying on things that don't fit, and leaving with a bag and a feeling that the day was wasted.
Who actually needs shopping with a stylist
Not the women who want to look "fashionable". The women who want the clothes question closed so they can get on with their lives.
This is what people come to me with:
- you are tired of shops, twenty minutes in and you want to go home;
- you don't know what suits you, so you buy what looks "fine, I guess";
- you get lost among the pieces: everything is pretty, nothing goes together;
- you buy regularly and still end up with the same "nothing to wear".

Why shopping without a plan doesn't work
A shop is built to make you buy. Not to make you buy what you need. So home goes yet another black turtleneck, the "versatile" trousers that match nothing, and a lovely jacket with no bottom and no shoes to wear it with.
It isn't you and it isn't your budget. The decision gets made on the spot, in the fitting room, with no list and no picture of your wardrobe as a whole. That is how pieces end up as loners in the closet.
What I do before we walk into the first shop
My work starts the day before, not in the shopping centre.
- I go through your brief: what the clothes are for, how much you are ready to spend, what you already have at home. If we have done a wardrobe edit before, I already know what is missing.
- I pick the shops for you specifically: your figure, your budget, your life, not "where the sale is this week".
- The day before, I walk those shops myself, mark the exact pieces and plan the route, so we don't criss-cross all of Lisbon.
- I think ahead about how each piece will fit into your wardrobe and what it will be worn with.
So that you don't waste your energy on chaos. You arrive and everything is already selected.
How the shopping itself goes
Three to four hours together. We follow the route and try on only what I picked in advance. I explain what goes with what, show the options, we take photos. The buying decision is always yours. I don't sell, I select.
At some point my favourite moment happens: "Oh... so this was possible?" When the pieces work with each other, flatter you and actually get worn, instead of hanging there "for a special occasion".
And the shops don't have to be expensive. The right piece in the right combination looks more expensive than a random purchase, whatever that one cost.
What you are left with
Not bags of clothes, but ready outfits. Still in the shop, we combine what you bought into sets, add accessories, talk through where and how to wear it. Then I'm in touch for two weeks: photos, questions, "does this go with that?".
And my favourite line from clients after shopping: "Wow, shopping is actually fun."
That line is what I work for.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to prepare? No. The preparation is on my side. From you I need comfortable shoes, a few hours, and an honest answer about how much you are ready to spend.
How much does it cost and how long does it take? A shopping session costs 226 €: pre-shopping and the route, 3-4 hours in the shops together and two weeks of support afterwards. Details on the shopping with me page.
I'm not in Lisbon. What then? In person I work in Lisbon, in Porto and in other European cities by arrangement. If you are far away, there is online shopping with ready outfits: I pick pieces in online shops and build outfits from them.
Can it be a gift? Yes. A personal gift certificate for a shopping session is valid for three months, and the recipient picks the date and the format herself.
